AcquireLens combines deterministic financial calculations with AI-generated interpretation. This page describes how those two layers work together and where the boundaries lie.
What AI does
- Summarizes risks and opportunities from information you provide.
- Drafts negotiation posture, diligence questions, and seller interview prompts.
- Produces narrative explanations of computed metrics.
What AI does not do
- AI does not change, override, or fabricate the financial figures you entered.
- AI does not verify seller numbers against tax returns or bank statements.
- AI does not replace legal, tax, or accounting professionals.
- AI does not produce appraisals; valuation ranges are model outputs.
Known limitations
- Models can be confidently wrong. Verify every material claim independently.
- Outputs reflect the inputs at analysis time; markets and businesses change.
- AI cannot see documents you have not shared with the Service.
Provenance
Every value in a report carries a provenance label — Verified, Seller reported, Calculated, AI inference, or Unknown — so any reviewer can audit the source.
Human review
AcquireLens is designed to accelerate professional review, not replace it. Present every report to your CPA, attorney, lender, and investment committee before signing a letter of intent or closing a transaction.
